Ceramic materials
Zirconium oxide (ZrO2-TZP) is extremely wear-resistant and is suitable for heavily loaded mechanical components. Aluminium oxide (Al2O3) is an ideal material for parts exposed to high temperatures.
The extremely high wear resistance and excellent antifriction properties of zirconium oxide significantly increase the life cycle of bearings on axes and shafts. The modulus of elasticity and coefficient of thermal expansion are similar to those of steel, so the combination of these two materials provides excellent results.
Components made of high-tech ceramic materials are used as insulators in electrical engineering and electronics, or in sterilisable drive systems for medical technology.

Metallic materials
Features of components made by MIM Technology:
- Similar excellent mechanical properties as cast or rolled steel
- Density of 96% - 98 %
- Components have a closed pore space and are therefore gastight and pressurised
- Excellent surface quality, almost no finishing required
- Highly corrosion-resistant
- Components can be heat-treated, polished, galvanized, welded, soldered and machined
