maxon catalogue 2006/07
The 2006/07 maxon catalogue is a multi-lingual best-seller that's free and available right away in German! It comes with a CD-ROM that contains the electronic catalogue and completely revised maxon selection program. We're also pleased to announce that maxon's homepage has been completely redesigned and can be viewed at www.maxonmotor.com.
On paper or CD-ROM, the 2006/07 maxon motor catalogue is clear and easy to use. New products for 2006 include three brushless EC motors with diameters of 10 and 13 mm, the EC-max 16 2-wire, the EC-powermax 22, the sterilisable planetary gearhead GP 16 M and the programmable standalone positioning controller EPOS P 24/5. The technical data pages were revised to make it easier and more efficient to work with the catalogue. The characteristic values of brushless and brush motors are now set out consistently and uniformly on the motor pages. The overview tables in the "Electronics" section make it easy to compare different maxon controls. The "Special Versions" section shows different aspects of customer-specific drive solutions. The "maxon ceramic" section is completely new and gives an overview of high-tech ceramic components.
Catalogue on CD-ROM
maxon's interactive CD-ROM catalogue offers practical help for solving everyday drive problems and contains advice, calculations, product information - in fact, almost everything you need to know about drive technology. The catalogue section features all the information contained in the 316-page printed version. It gives all detailed information on brush and brushless DC motors with diameters of 6 - 75 mm and assigned power ratings up to 400 watts. The modular system with gearheads, DC tachos, encoders and resolvers is set out to make it easy-to-follow. All dimension drawings are also available in DXF format for import into any CAD system.
maxon selection program
The maxon selection program calculates potential drive solutions. Simply input some known data and the optimum drive units quickly appear on screen. The newly integrated moment of inertia calculator makes it easier to calculate drive systems. Windows 98/NT/2000/ME or XP and 256 MByte RAM of memory are required to operate the maxon selection program. We recommend a screen resolution of 1,024 x 768 pixels. The maxon selection program requires no installation and can be copied onto a hard disc or started from the CD-ROM. No settings have to be saved when operating it from the CD-ROM.
